About

How Fin-Link Was Born

The inception of Fin-Link was rooted in a shared passion for innovation and a fortuitous meeting that evolved into a dynamic partnership. Ian Lewin, a seasoned expert with 30 years of experience in corporate IT systems development and engineering, was exploring the burgeoning world of low-code/no-code platforms, particularly Monday.com. He was captivated by the platform's ability to create bespoke solutions tailored to the unique needs of businesses, recognising the immense potential in this approach.

During this period, Ian was introduced to Darren Arbuckle, a young professional with an exceptional understanding of business processes and an intuitive ability to maximise the potential of Monday.com. Despite his relative inexperience, Darren’s genius in applying technology to optimise and enhance business operations was immediately evident. His drive and energy complemented Ian’s wealth of experience, making their collaboration a natural fit.

As they worked together on several projects, it quickly became apparent that their combined strengths could form the basis of a successful business. The synergy between Ian’s extensive experience and Darren’s fresh perspective and technical acumen led to the creation of Fin-Link. Recognising the potential, they knew they had to establish a business together.
